You could modify your template a bit and add third listbox control. Make that your playlist. So, when you add files to a playlist, they populate the playlist control. Then, you can add/remove items from that list. Shouldn't be too much trouble. You already have the code in place to add files to a playlist.

I guess the major question is, what is the format of an existing playlist?

The playlists are a little messed up. First thing is that the app is geared to use Media Player 10.

It will play single tracks and videos with any version of media player but playlists well microsoft never seems to believe in standards and this is case in point. The playlist file differes per version of media player.

I can code around this so that the app will check the version of media player and only build playlists for that player but then if the user upgrades their Media Player to a newer version the existing playlist files will no longer work.

So instead I planned on stating that media player 10 has to be installed to enjoy the full effect of the application.

Ill definitely be looking into what I can do with modifying the playlists though :)

err.. Is it my explorer problem or is it that you are doing modification.

In Foxy, it overlap, the album, and in IE, the album seems fine, but both the create new and playlist, hmm, its like sticking together. in Foxy, i cant see both the create new and playlist, only the album list. :) was trying to relax while listening from your website. cool idea to relax. :)

Yep your using the app for what its made to do thats for sure :)

I havent put any thought into Firefox as of yet. As soon as the IE version is complete I will work on a version for Firefox.

The only problem with Firefox is you need to install a plugin to be able to view the Media Player.

Thanks Davcheong ! It sounds like you really like the concept :) As soon as I have things in a final state Ill be sure to let you know and anyone else who has expressed interest in this thread!

To be honest, i am using IE7, and firefox. Both explorer also i can see the media player, only thing is different, as i mentioned above earlier. This is a cool concept. Infact, most of the people now listen to Y.Music, and other that i might not know or can't remember which. Diferent is, this one, you can upload your own song. :) but your storage must have to be a large one once you get a lot of visitor.
