What type of ticketing are you refering to? I do quite a bit of ticketing relating to sporting events. I can probably answer some of your questions.

    Ok then,

You can use paypal, but you should do so very carefully, because they are very likely to hold your money if anything goes wrong. Also, they will hold your money for ticket sales if you start selling a lot really quickly. Don't keep a lot of money in your paypal account, and respond to any request they have quickly.

When you are selling tickets and they want proof of delivery / products, they will ask for several things: a receipt from and the organization that you purchased the tickets from, the shipping carrier information and tracking numbers, and possibly an actual photocopy of the tickets.

Make sure that your customers know to contact you directly if there is a problem. On that note, make sure you fix any problem if you encounter one. Also, make sure paypal know that you are selling tickets. Make sure the tickets are tangible, and keep a copy of all postal receipts for at least 6 months. I would also recommend photo copying every ticket order before you ship it out.

On the note of travel tickets, I'm not sure on how you are planning on selling these, but I would check to see if they are restricted first. In any type of processing, travel, and advanced booking are very high risk, and paypal may not allow these.

Check with paypal just to be sure that they still allow ticket sales. It's been a year since I sold any with them, but as far as I know it's still OK.

When I was selling tickets last year, I did a good volume of sales in the span of about 2 months ($200K+). They froze my account 3 times in the first month, but have never frozen it again. It took about 2 days to get unfrozen each time, but I did have all the necessary paperwork that they required.

If you dont ever reach a high volume they may not freeze your account, but I would expect it to happen with ticket sales.
