online signups sent to pending list

I want to start allowing our customers to use the online signup feature in Optigold. We are currently running v2.9.7. I have tested this feature and it works fine. When I create an account using online signup, though, the account is added to the pending list in Optigold. Is there a way to set it to approve the account in the pending list and add the customer to the server automatically?

We might like this to be an option if the customer pays with credit card and the card is approved so the new online signup customer may start using the account immediately, instead of waiting until the next business day when the office opens again and we can approve it manually. I found a setting in Maintenance & Preferences --> Web Interface Setup --> Online Signup called All Accounts go to Pending Status. Even with this set to "No", online signup accounts get added to the pending list and are not added to the server.

Do you have regular account (added through the GUI) going to Pending accounts?

If you mean when we regularly add customers using the Optigold client interface they get added to Pending Account List, then yes. After we approve them in the Pending list they go to the Server Actions Accounts list to be added to the server. Would we have to change that too for the online signups to be entered on the server automatically? Thank you for your help, Shawn.

Yes, the Online Signup conforms to that setting (under the Accounts preferences).

Thank you, Shawn. Does "All Accounts go to Pending Status" in the Web Interface Setup - Online Signup preference override this global setting? Also, if we change this setting so that accounts do not go to pending status, can they also be added to the server automatically and instantly, instead of being put in the Server Actions Accounts list first. We want the online signup feature to be as automated as possible so that customers can sign up when our office is closed and use the account immediately if payment is made. Thanks again for your help.

Yes, if you have normal customer additions not going to Pending, you can use that setting to send only online signups to Pending.

How is this done? Does the same setting control both of these lists?

Under the online signup settings you have the option to trigger the server events during the signup.
