hi. im new in all this and i was wondering how to sell properly, and sell proper things. this affiliate thing is a little bit silly for me (having www site, listed products and silly link (with ref number) to ANOTHER site (site of the product)). what about proper www site with own shopping cart and payment options? is this possible? because the problem which appears is how will firm (firm of the product) GET information of purchased items (over which 'affiliate'/seller, what was purchased and where to send the item)? is this possible in any other way than buy products and then sell them (manualy)? and when im talking about products i mean practical things like computers/computing equipment etc...
It's quite possible, if I read your question correctly. You could very well have own your store with your own site, and selling your own products. If you don't want to buy your inventory and send it yourself, you could look into dropshippers. I personally am involved in affiliate marketing. I also cloak my affiliate links with my domain name to help curve the problem you described.
If you want to purchase the products in bulk and then ship them off to people to purchase it, you can look for affordable bulk rates near your local city (to cut down on the shipping fees). You can get your own shopping cart and .com but you'll need to hire a website designer for this.
there are lots of dropshipping plans available in the market, most have products preloaded and you got to choose your own domain, i use one of the best of this kind i think, the prices are low and they preload lots of hot selling products including PS3 and Ipod, you also have the choice to add your own products. all shipping and payment processing are handled by the company, you only worry about marketing. you also have the option to promote the dropshipping packages as an affiliate, commission is good, customer service is outstanding. i've made hundreds with very low traffic, definitely a great deal if you devote more time into promoting your site. click on my sig and have a look. hope that helps.
