I was pushing 20% off coupons and no bites. 1:20 conversion is pretty good. How are you guys getting all your traffic? From SEO? Email Marketing? Forums?
It is tough, for every 250 unique visits I'm getting, I 'm doing one sell. And they are targeted too.
A 20% coupon is not a good idea. On some large orders you don't have a 20% profit margin to give away. I find that a $5.00 or at most $10.00 coupon is all that is necessary. Reduce your shipping to $10.00. People hate to pay shipping charges and $10.00 seem to be acceptable where as $18 seems high.
I'm starting to suspect that some templates convert better than others. My best two converting templates are www.yourfriendlypharmacy.com and www.happy-meds.com. What these both have in common is a blue and white color scheme. I think my best looking template, which has free shipping and a first time buyers coupon, plus cheap prices, is www.corner-drug-store.com. However despite all the incentives to buy it is my worst converting store. One of my employees has an affilaite site at www.your-friendly-drug-store.com and it doesn't convert well either. I asked Cartadmin about this and they claim they have no figures that indicate that some designs convert better than others, but as I said above I'm starting to think this is the case. I guess I could always download another template for these none converting domains and see if it worked better.
I was trying to jumpstart the pharmacy with a large discount. I guess that plan failed. $10.00 for shipping seems reasonable. Will try that.
Just learned more about SEO. I'm a novice in all of this. I finally got my links page up Anyone want to trade links? http://med-eze.com/directory/ Hey Bob, Would you do me a favor, and change the anchor on your affiliate page from "Med-Eze Online Pharmacy" to "Online Pharmacy Meds"? Sorry I'm late to teh SEO game. I've added you to my links page too. thanks...
I am getting hundred of spams from online pharmacy. they uses different domain names but you can see that all these domains are the same thing. On the site, it is mentioned pharmacyexpress.com but that site is not working. Does any of you guy who work with pharmacy affiliate programs know who this people are. Here is the link from their latest spam: www(.)returoper(.)com
I know that is not affiliate program that I am work with. In my Affiliate program SPAM is not permitted. Affiliates will be immediately terminated, with the loss of all outstanding commissions if we receive SPAM complaints about your website.
I understand but I will be thankful if someone can help me to find out the supplier for these idiots. They have registered hundreds of domains and sending the same email may be 3-4 time a a day. I am used to the usual spam but this is too much getting the same spam 300 times in 1 day. does anyone knows what is pharmacyexpress(.)com which I suppose is the supplier for these guys?
www(.)returoper(.)com is seems kinda weird to me because it's accredited pharmacy in canada. Got a BBB, CIPA and pharmacy checker seal. Complain to those boards with proof of SPAM with cause them big trouble i think
All of these 100s of domains use exactly the same template, I don't think they really have anything. I just got these ones, check it out and you see that it is the same. www(.)heculinar(.)com www(.)mealsanine(.)com You can see that URLs don't even make sense and are only registered for spam.
Any idea why I can not change my shipping to anything lower than 19.95? I've had it at 14.95 before, but now I get "err_commission_too_low" when I try.
My PR is still 0. I'm trying to get it up with no luck so far. Only a handful of website links to me at the moment. No sales yet.
