I think if you read the entire thread you will find that a lot of suggestions have already been made. Perhaps one of you could be so kind as to explain the coupon system to me? I'd like to offer a rebate on the first purchase, but I don't quite get how I'll get the code to show the customers. Thanks.
I think the only way to do that is with a coupon announcement on the web site. Have a look at this site. The template came with the first order coupon pre-progammed. http://www.corner-drug-store.com
Yes , that is first option. Second is that build new coupon on cartadmin and write code. Then that code you can place on your website like me here http://www.usa-online-pharmacy.biz
Third is to create a coupon in Cartadmin and then send an email to all new customers thanking them for their order and offering them the coupon on their next order. Here is the text I use when emailing the coupons: Thank you for placing your recent order at <http://www.yourfriendlypharmacy.com. We trust that your order arrived promptly and in good condition. To show our appreciation for your business we are offering you a $5 coupon that is good until July 31, 2005. To redeem this coupon type the code YFP101 into the coupon box on the order form. You may share this coupon with other family members or friends. They will also appreciate and enjoy our new reduced shipping cost of $10 on all orders.
Thanks, I'll go with the manually created coupon. My problem is that I have my super wart page and lots of people looking for stuff to heal genital warts, the pharmacy has some cool revolutionary cream, but unfortunately it is a bit expensive - so I have lots of people click onto the pharmacy from my wart page but bail before ordering. I'm thinking a coupon might help them get that credit card out of the pocket and heal those warts
Wow! That surprises me. I found the conversion rate very high. Are you offering cheap shipping or first time buyer coupons? And where are you getting your traffic from?
I just had my first sale, after referring 87 people from my other page, I finally sold a product (at $392.95 including shipping).
COMMISSION: $4.20 I offered a $10 rebate and had the shipping lowered a bit, think I'll raise the shipping again
That's always the problem with what look like a big orders. The profit on large orders is small. What you want to sell is $75 to $150 worth of generic products. The commission on these items is usually in the $25 to $45 range.
I see that now, I wish they had cheaper wart medicine, I'm sure I could push large amounts if there where something in that priceclass. I figure I got to spread out a bit and cover stuff besides warts
very nice blinxdk great conversion for start keep work hard and smart and you will see light like me $$$$$
