    Paypal is all you need. But shifting to 2co or other far better if you expect lots of money coming your way.

    I also recommend you to add 2CO as so many using it though there is one time fee you have to pay to them ($49 - joining fee).

    If you're looking for a processor and gateway to integrate into your site check out EC Suite as well, they're similar to 2co but might be better suited to the type of business you have, digital services/content. Where as 2co deals a lot more with tangibles.

    What credit card gateways work best for recurring subscription billing on credit card? I find for some of my sites, that PayPal use is not widespread.

    Google checkout is bad, don't use it.
    I've never gotten so many chargebacks in my life.
    And google doesn't investigate, lost a good few thousand dollars to google checkout...
