    i am looking for a script that will show how many people are currently online

    Do you mean "how many people are currently viewing the home page of the site"?

    ... working even without any logon/session etc?

    im not sure how it work, i dont really know any php.

    i just to be able to see how many people are currently viewing the homepage (for a proxy )
