Online nic, domains are hostage.

Anyone else having problems with Onlinenic?

I used to have about 100 domains registered with them, I started moving the domains to another registrar after I heard about the big lawsuit (last year?).

I've still got a handful of domains with them, and a few weeks ago I tried to move them. TRANSFER REJECTED!

I wrote them, and they claim due to a software upgrade the transfer system was broken.

How long could that take to fix?

Some google searches showed that the problem of the transfers being rejected was in fact the result of a lawsuit or something which has shut down the ability to transfer out domain names.

I suspect every customer is affected.

Does anyone have any other information on this, or know of any way to get the domains out of their control!?!

    Sorry to hear that.
By the way, don't worry, whenever you meet with this kind of registrar, file a complain with Icann.
Then Icann will take care the rest for you.
