Firstly, thank you very much for your interest in my thread.

I'm writing this to offer an online mathematics tutoring service. I'm willing to tutor anything from pre-algebra to AP calculus (USA), or Key Stage 3 to A Level (UK), and hope to help a wide range of abilities progress through their studies. For struggling students I will be able to provide clear, easy to follow hints and ideas, and I am able to push the high achievers and stretch them further than they could be in class.

I'm current a student at Trinity College, Cambridge - a renowned educational establishment with plenty of fantastic mathematicians having studied there, including Newton, Ramanujan and Babbage. I aspire to do a PhD in quantum mechanics or mathematical biology, and then to be a research mathematician.

I worked for a private study centre when I was 13 providing tuition and help to students up to age 18 on all sorts of problems ranging from basic arithmetic to calculus. I achieved a GCSE A* equivalent at the age of 7, and later I became a member of the UK's 'International Mathematics Olympiad' squad, aimed at nurturing the top 20 high school mathematicians here in the UK and to represent the UK mathematically on an international stage.

Tuition will be done via MSN - it is advised that you have the 'drawing' tool available on your client so that if your problems are hard to type (for example an integration question), you can easily draw them. I have plenty of experience using MSN to help people with their math problems.

Rates are much cheaper than elsewhere for the moment - I'm looking for £10/hour. At the current exchange rate, this is roughly equivalent to $16/hour, less than half of what a lot of tutors charge. Payment should be made by PayPal.

As for the hours available for tutoring - this is quite flexible. I'm located in England, but I'm more than happy to give tuition at times more suitable for people in USA/Canada. We will be able to sort out a time that works.

Please contact me via a private message here on the Digital Point forums.

Thank you very much for your time, and I hope to hear from you soon!
