Online marketing steps

I'm newbie to the SEO business. Here is the basic steps I've learnt to take to Market my sites:

* Get a website with your own domain name
* Optimize your website for local search
* Set up your Google and Yahoo Local business profiles
* Get links and “citations” from other sites and directories
* Publish original content to your website (aka “spider food”)
* Set up Call Tracking on your website
* Create a video and publish it on YouTube
* Take control of your online reviews
* Add a Map and Directions page to your website
* Set up an email newsletter to increase your repeat business
* blogging, social bookmarketing, viral marketing, social networking
* Link Exchanges, Forum Posting and Blog Commenting

Just checked that link what you gave. I dont understand why must be this way - •All styles with CSS. No Tables!

Is it bad for SE? So if website will be made with DIV no Tables, so it will be "friendly" for SE? Or i got that wronge?

I would say.. it matters if your site is made with tables for DIVs..

because if your site is made of many tables or nested tables it becomes difficult for the crawlers to crawl..
that why today the new concept coming Tableless design, SEO friendly design etc..

 

I think, he meant, it brings you traffic You can advertise your website or company over there, i mean.

if u have video that u want to show on your site than place it on youtube, and just give link on your site..

it has many advantage..
(1) your server not occupy space for video..
(2) you are placing link to youtube
(3) it may also accessible by other user at youtube.. so u get visitors also..

 

Thanks guys for your explaination. I heard that if we post comment at youtube with our link we got quality back links.. is it true? if yes then let me know did youtube allow this
