Hi all I have created a community site and have some money that i'm going to use for marketing. Anyone have an advice on where/how to get the best value for my marketing money? I have searched the web, but it's not easy to find out how mutch a site are charging for their ads, banner space or link. I could of course contact one by one and ask them, but I was hoping anyone had a site where you could bid on links, banner space and so on. I have found some link sites and so on but the sites where not very god and it was not very easy to find out how they work. All advice would be appreciated
I would definately reccomend you look into some free avenues of promotion first. Don't spend money just because you have it, that is a mistake at the start. If you need any help or tips send me a PM.

Good day! I would like to share my experience also. I have been working for already quite a long time with such site as infocera.com and have to admit the I have really good result. Thus, I recommend that you try visiting it and starting your affiliate marketing there. It is definitely worth starting.
I would be prepared to spend at least some money if you want to grow quickly. But "how to get best value for the money": impossible to say without more information. But I would think along the listen of viral marketing (how can you get people to talk about your product).
Buy banner ad space and links on websites that have your targeted audience. That's the best buck for the money. You can also try google adwords.
The best way to do it would to go for media buys ... Go big or go small as they say, but if you really want to go big in a short amount of time media buying would be the best.
If you want the best cost effective solution then the most important aspect is to make sure you see (non fabricated) testimonials from customers or, even better, word of mouth.
Try finding some of those cheap traffic websites. I once paid for non targeted traffic 2k visitors per dollar, with the amount to double my daily hits. I can say it paid off really well, as I doubled my daily registrations with a tripled junk traffic.
Hi, By avenues of free promotion I mean things such as Youtube, social networking sites, SEO, article marketing, forums and many more. I think you should be prepared to spend a small amount on certain things such as making your life easier. The problem with methods such as PPC are it takes trial and error. Once you have a tried and tested campaign you can make A LOT of profit pretty easily however getting to that stage via trial and error with keywords etc tends to result in a loss. If you have anymore questions do not hesitate to ask.
Across any of the industries I've worked with, PPC search has been the most reliable investment. Even so, you have to expect to spend a lot of money with split testing, building up a quality score and all that before you have something that's stable and profitable. You absolutely need an adequate budget.

Start thinking for some ideas that can help you and later move towards some big investments where you can surely get high profits,,moreover you can make Google Adwords for your site and this will surely help you because you have a community site and you need to market at a large scale...

The site looks new, but I like the idea to get a view over what different sites have to offer and then I can bid on what I think is good for me. I will give it a shot.. That ^^ and also as far as the places to buy traffic from go, try buying ad space directly from web owners. You should get good deals. And then later on start doing more advanced media buys on reputable ad networks etc.
