Hello DP'ers, I'm looking for a talented coder who is able to write clean,valid and seo friendly code and who's able to develop a online gallery/social network similar to www.coroflot.com, www.behance.net ,etc where people can submit their work,create portfolios,post jobs,attend events,view contests,etc and be able to interact with each other like rate projects,add to favorites,join groups,create threads,private messaging,etc.I will provide you with the PSD file containing the design of the pages and you will have to take it from there by searching for plugins for the platform you suggest and implementing them so they work seaming-less with each other since there's no point of developing new plugins if there's already a plugin for that and once it's done you will have to install it on our servers. I would like the website to be build on a platform like Wordpress,Joomla,Drupal,Ruby on Rails.etc and would like it to be secure,dynamic & fast,Wordpress + Buddypress would be preferred due to a high number of plugins that exist,but I'm not sure if Wordpress could handle it(performance loss).Also by fast/dynamic i'm referring to something similar to http://sortfolio.com/ where content is loaded fast and as you scroll down,etc The job mainly involves combining 4 different types of websites(Online Portfolio,Job Board,Gallery,Events/Contests) into a single one.After all the features are in place you will have to transform the PSD file into a theme for the platform you suggested.Please note that I will need to have full access to different settings in the backend,such as remove images/users,move users/images,control user memberships,etc this will most likely be already built into the plugins.Also the content must be flexible and cross browser compatible so a user with a 1600 screen resolution will be able to view more images on a page then a user with a 1024 screen resolution.All the sidebar elements must be widgets so i can change the order and choose if i want that widget to be displayed on a specific page or not. Main functions: - Social Media Features similar to what BuddyPress has(groups,private messaging,activity stream,etc) - Job board implementation based on WP Careers or similar - Events,Contests & Articles pages: where people can see the latest articles/events/contest and publish a job/article/contest - Create an Online portfolio & view/rate/favorite other people's work(gallery) - Control Panel/Logged in area where people can tweak their profiles like change their description,location,skills,etc and join groups,upload CV,apply for a pro account,view stats,etc. - sidebar content as widgets - backend where I can control user memberships,types, remove/delete a images,etc Some other functions: - flexible layout that adapts to screen resolution - RSS news feed pulled from an external website and displayed in thumbnails -paid memberships -user if they apply for a membership they can change their profile background by uploading a custom designed image similar to twitter -upload their CV as a pdf or doc file so it can be downloaded by other members -achievements -user classes such as pro member,vip,regular,freelance,etc -twitter feeds displayed on their profile -link to their facebook,twitter, linkedin profile -ads management -jquery -video -custom designed forms Please note that you will need to sign a NDA before I send you the psd and upon completion you will have to transfer all the rights to me.Payment is done half when we reach a certain milestone that we will discuss and the rest upon completion.
