    thanks my44,
i borrowed the idea from someone else's site on this forum.
i have no links to it, apart from a few from this forum, and i haven't started promoting it yet... so it gets very little traffic, and what it does get is from webmasters, so the CTR would be in the 'BIG FAT ZERO' range, apart from that..all is well. :D

I don't rely on Adsense actually. Adsense is just part of my hobby and experiments. My adsense earning is just a prize on my effort.

May main income comes from my internet cafes here in the Philippines.

    I do

    Adsense : 10%
    Affiliate stuff: 5%
    Selling Software: the balance

Adsense is nice easy icing on the cake.

What Adsense did for me was take the pressure off. My hobby site was up and running for maybe 3 years making peanuts because I am such a bad salesperson. Then AS came along and I got revenue the first month AS ran.

My old man had been doing my head in to get rid of the site because he thought I was just spinning my wheels, but AS proved the site had a future. Now I make more from one annual ad than I make in AS in one month, but I make more in AS in one month than bugger-lugs makes working hard six days a week.

So, AS is great for your confidence as well as for a bit of regular income but don't rely on it. Knowing Google's love of changing the goalposts your AS income could collapse overnight.

Well i have tasted almost all online ventures .Some were cool but most turned bitter to experience! Remember every online venture is a gamble where only the gurus survive .However if you want the safest way to earn money , make content sites and promote them .

We are all nerds. We need adsense or we die.
