So I redeveloped the forum at Jibber and imported it to a vbulletin at: http://www.theonlinedeveloper.com As the project is still very new, I'd like to get some feedback on what would draw you to the forums - any specific boards you'd like to see, or are there any elements in the presentation that turn you off? Feel free to comment.
I tend to look at sites like this when i need something so maybe having a tutorial section popular code snippets to help people out? Your users could submit them for some kind of reward?
That's a good point - I was actually trying to develop a tutorial section outside of the forums, but that's gone a bit screwy - will look now at setting up some kind of tutorial section there. Already I can see potential for altering the boards to be a little more focused.
Well, i for one like your forum. I had a little read of some posts and found some interesting stuff I'll be getting over to look more into. Congrats. I know from experience how tough it is to get a forum of the ground.
