Hi, is there someone, who can explain me, what is "online degrees"? It's maybe somethink with education and internet business. Yep? Maybe some experience?
It has something to do with education but I doubt it has anything to do with Internet Business. For online degrees just be wary of the numerous diploma scams. It is especially confusing for USA. For USA degrees make sure their accredition either of the 6 regionally accredited agencies or from the DETC national accredited agencies. I suppose a Google on the subject will give lots of good info.
They're not all scams. I'm studying from home for a Degree in Physical Science with The Open University.
Online degree means that you attain your degree online rather than a physical campus. No, they are NOT all scams. Many well respected universities are now offering the online option. RoccoSifreddi! LMAO. Only a few know who that is.
Ok, so that's type of education through internet? How does it works? I just simply signup to some school, get some materials, studying at home and at the end of year i came to school to some tests? And what about companies? Did they accept this type or it's useless?
How seriously they are taken depends on the status of the institution. If it's through a major university (online MBA programs are becoming more popular) then you are probably alright. The general sentiments I have heard are that other resumes citing online degrees go straight into the trash.
