Seeing a recent thread about failed cron jobs, I thought I'd post this regarding my service because I think it might be of benefit to some folks out there. I run a free cron job service that allows you access to Cron when your webhosting provider doesn't have it (some free hosting accounts are like this). If you DO have access to cron, configuring it is a real pain and it's kind of picky about the syntax. My service is clean, easy and intuitive to setup cron jobs quickly and painlessly. If you need to backup a database, update an RSS feed, auto-post to a blog, or perform any PHP cron jobs, check out Cronless.com. Free accounts get up to 5 jobs. You can upgrade to premium and get even more jobs and site monitoring too.
Hey not bad at all. Thanks the links. How do you find out about the premium services. Its late and I'm sleepy, but I couldn't find the link. Thanks
Hi Monique, Once you register with Cronless, you'll see details on the home page. The two levels are "Power" and "Pro". The latter has the most features, included unlimited jobs, job frequency as often as once per minute, and site monitoring. Pro is $27 for the entire year, Power is $19.
