    i everyone,

I am looking for a freelancer or small freelance team with experience in creating online conferencing applications (video/audio). I need a someone for this job that can deal with all aspects of a brand new website: Development, Design, Small amount of content, Support, and CONSTANT COMMUNICATION.

This is NOT a desktop software development project - it is strictly web.

It is not just a simple website with a conferencing feature - there will be more features based around this concept, as well as different account types. You will need experience with java/flash, as well as Flash Media Servers.

It would be great to have this project done in about 1 months time.

If you wish to apply, please send me examples of your past work (preferably to do with online conferencing) and include past design work and development work. Also tell me why you are the one for the job, and what is special about you.

Also, please do not apply if you are asking for much more than my posted budget. I am looking to make this a Fixed Price job only. I have had bad experience with people taking longer than they needed to, in order to get more money for the same job. My budget is about $500 and will increase by $50 if you can also create blackberry, android and iphone apps. Otherwise you just need to make the APIs and I will have someone else make them.

Please only apply if you have experience with this stuff!

Increase by 50$ if we create android/BB apps? Building apps at $50? Isn't that like asking for a bit too much?

Your right, it isnt much, but I have someone else who has already agreed to make the apps for $50 if I give him APIs and a design, so I thought I may as well offer it to the developer too if they would prefer to do it themselves...

Great, Goodluck having the site and app up. Flex Development, API Development etc and compatibility with all phones at all resolutions is no way possible at this budget.

not all resolutions, and I think it will be a reasonable budget for what I am looking for.

Not to be rude mate, but lets see:

CONSTANT COMMUNICATION will require setting up a socket server. Do you want the developer to create a socket server for you as well? If yes, then a socket server made in Java alone needs a budget over $500.
Add AS3/Flash/Flex + PHP/ASP.net backend + Content + All the bell and whistles you want, I honestly think its far from reasonable.

Sorry, maybe I wasnt clear. I am looking for Constant Communication with the developer - I find that a lot of the coders I have hired from here disappear for days throughout the project - I dont like that at all. There is no need for a socket server, I was just referring to the developer.

I think for someone who knows what they are doing with Flash and Flash Media Servers this budget is reasonable - I have had many offers. If someone approached me and requested a little bit more and I could see that they knew what they were doing I would hire them and raise the budget. I just dont want to be paying someone to learn the technology...

A Dedicated team will never run away and will always sign agreements / project sheets with legal info and address etc before taking upfronts or getting assigned to a project. Your bduget is too low for something like this. Application on smartphones would further need API developed and all.
