Online Casino and Poker affiliate programs

Casinos and poker are probably the most profitable online market and of course very competitive. I'm still mostly learning about it, as that niche is new to me and preparing to get into it with full speed...
What can be better than making $100-1000 per referral :p

So how many of you are into this biz and how are things for you? Also in the shades of recent events in the industry..

Besides that, of course what affiliate programs make you most of the money?

Casinoblasters and Referback are looking good to me

Take a look at the Poker Affiliate World Forum. It's a great resource for poker affiliates.

Being a gambling affiliate is extremely competitive! It's hard to get organic traffic, and the largest PPC networks doesn't allow gambling ads.
But, if you can get the traffic you can make some serious money.

yeah the competition is very high but you don't have to rank for "online casino" - there's plenty of traffic you can choose easier keywords to rank for :)
so what casino aff's are doing best for you?

I have been running a poker site's since about 1 and a half years ago..One site is a poker forum and the other is more of a tips and strategy site..I have joined many poker affiliate programs and have learned if you are just getting started - try and go for CPA only programs (where you get paid a fixed amount for every first real deposit)..Check out the link in my sig..they have a few casino programs which pay like $100-$120/real deposit..

Otherwise, I would try to contact an affiliate manager for a site like Titan Poker, CD Poker, and some other smaller casino's and try to get a CPA account setup with them. If you get paid a % per what they play - it will take you much longer to get a steady amount of money coming..Hope this helps

MidwestMerchant, don't you mind to share some figures of your income ?:) Not ask to tell exact sum, just something like $x, $xx and so on. Monthly.

There are a couple good places I am currently using. Max bounty offers some great CPA rates for a few casinos (see my sig for a link). I have my site setup so half are CPA to me and 1/2 are rev share so in case I am having trouble getting signups I still have my revshare on some accounts.

The only thing I do not like about this industry is that just like with viagra and porn people spam the most in this industry . Of course probably these are the 3 most profitable industries in the online marketing IMO .

Choose another niche buddy...poker promotion is gettin saturated. Unless you find a new/unique approach to promote it.

I have an affiliate for a related domain name, not yet launched.

I put a page with a link to that site and a coming soon page and it's driven some income just from casual surfers, since promotion has not started.

My affiliate (poker related) pays $100 via Stormpay for each sale.

How does everyone market their affiliate links? It must be one of the hardest affiliates to promote since you can't advertise through google or companies like that?

I have one way I use to promote but am building a website at the moment, might take a while before its up and running though.

The UK government is pushing for online gambling licenses, which is what the US should have done in the first place.

While this won't affect affiliates, it certainly means that many of the previously American companies will have an even greater incentive to move over here.
