Hi guys, I know a couple years ago Google Made some changes in its search algorithms where sites who were promoting online casinos in the U.S. or were online casinos would be penalized and taken off their search results. Does anyone know where this verbiage is or if Google has loosened the rules a little bit?
That is completely false. Google stop receiving adsense advertisers but it never penalized any casino website for offering the service to US players. If you want to optimize casino sites be ready to get into one of the biggest and most competitive industries online.
Well what I basically want to do is link to the online casinos / advertise them on the site, this is what I have heard from other people that you might get penalized just for having illegal content like that in the U.S. from google even to the point where your site might get de-listed.
The only penalization might happen if you are selling the links and google finds out about it and/or if you are an adsense advertiser it will break adsense TOS and they'll close your account. As far as search engine rankings it won't change anything on your site.
Selling the links? So .do you mean if I sell advertising space and put a online casino there and make profit, i will get affected ...or does that only apply if you are part of their adwords program?
