My mentor told me this a couple months back: Don't focus on traffic and sales - Focus on building an asset. It stuck with me ever since. It completely changed the way I look at marketing as a whole. Your marketing and business model shouldn't be a "one-time" short-term strategy. It should produce a constant amount of leads or sales that can be turned on and off at will, when you need it to.
