Hi all I am looking for a developer to devlop an online booking sytem for our client. I would like someone who has worked with English/Amercians or Australians. You will need to give me a price for building an online booking sytem from scatch. This booking sytem will have features that will make it somewhat difficult to develop so previous experience will be required. I will want to use skype to contact you so please be sure your English is good. If this project is completed successfully there will be more work to come, even the possibility of a perminant contract. Please guys I am looking for someone who can speak English well!!! You may pm me your details in particular your skype id and if I feel you have the right experience I will contact you via skype.
I am a software engineer and can develop web applications as well as window based application. I have thorough knowledge of VB.Net, C#, ASP.net, PHP. If you can PM me or mail me the details about the project then I can tell you whether I can do it or not. Don't worry about the communication as I have extremely good knowledge.
Here is a list of requirements for the online booking sytems. Have a look, if you think you are up to it pm me. Thanks 1) We sells package camping and mobile home holidays. 2) We do not do flight reservations 3) We book all the main ferry operators on special ITX rates (at the moment we book over the internet or by phone. 4) We sell insurance and other extras such as linen, car hire and en route hotels. 5) We sell to the UK, Germany, Denmark and The Netherlands. We price in £, € and DKr. These are separate prices depending on each market. ie the € price is not simply the £ multiplied by an exchange rate. 6) We operate on campsites in Italy, France and Spain. (We rent pitches from the campsites for the whole season and install the tents and mobile homes on them – we own the tents and mobile home.) 7) We are 99% direct sell and do not require links to travel agents. 8) We allow the customer to arrive and depart on any day – ie totally flexible holidays. However our staff must not leave gaps of less than 7 nights. This requires them to be able to see the current bookings so that they can make a judgement on whether to take the booking or not or to suggest different dates to the customer. At the moment we do this on a spreadsheet. We frequently have to drag and drop bookings in order to tie bookings in. There may be other methods of doing this. I realise that this may cause problems especially for online bookings. We are open to other options such as certain fixed arrival days as long as we have some sort of manual override 9) The pricing method is different for the UK and foreign customers. The foreign ones have a simple price per night structure (in € or DKr), as there is no travel. The UK have a 3 night £ price which includes a basic ferry crossing. There is an extra night rate so they can adjust the length of their holiday. Going forward it may be possible to have a per night price for the UK bookings and an extras add-on for the ferry. 10) At the moment we have 8 operators (12 computers) in our office. Ideally a provision for remote access would be useful – for the directors and staff from home, our overseas managers from the resorts and for our main agents in Germany and Denmark so they could input bookings directly. 11) This year we will do between 3500-4000 bookings and carry about 14000 passengers. 12) At the moment we do not do online bookings but this is something that we need to do from now on. If we did we may have to have certain units which only sell fixed duration holidays eg Sat-Sat.
