    Hello,

My name is Jay, I am the owner of Tuner Maneuver Magazine (www.tunermaneuvermag.com), I know my sites design is alittle poor but I am currently working on a new one that I will be updating soon as I get the design layout down. I am currently also working on SEO by reading alot of articles and books (Currently reading Search Engine Optimization For Dummies). I am learning quite a bit but no where near enough I think to rank high. My site is currently ran through Wordpress software. I am told wordpress based sites rank high. I have used the keyword tool from Google to get what I think is the best possible keywords, I have done my title tags and description tags and etc. I was wondering if someone could go over my site and let me know what needs changed or improved to get better traffic and rankings. I have alot of competition in the field of "online tuner magazines" I am trying to rank higher on google for that phrase. Any help or if someone is willing to do my site for better SEO or tell me how that would be great.

Thanks for all the help, advice and suggestions in advance.

    Jay

PM sent, not 100% sure what a backlink is but anything that will help is cool. I just submitted my sitemap.xml in my google webmaster tools, I am using the all-in-one seo plugin and google sitemap xml plugin.

I am unsure what keywords I should use, I got some but I am I dont know how strong they are.

For starters you could work on putting in content links within your articles. That means taking words that are already in your article content, and turning them into links that point to other pages on your site. You should only point to other pages that are related to the keyword you are linking them with. The key is to link every page to another page, this will help build a good internal linking structure!

We provide complete web development including SEO & Marketing, send a PM if you would like to discuss more.

    Good Luck!

This is not an Advice that I would be giving but I wanted to say that I was surprise to see your website design..
Are you just humble, cos your design is so perfect with a flash effect banner. you stated that your site design is a little poor.. but its not.. in fact I love the color Scheme.. If you really wanna improve its design its up to you... It I am sure you it would really be a better site.. just keep the color scheme cos its prefect for your site. cos its about cars. But The text: make it more readable so that the viewer's and readers wont be having a problem reading the text. Make it Light Blue or white, so that the color scheme would still fit the background..

best regard to you...! Keep it up

No offense, but no one searches for that keyword. Check this tool:
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal and try to get ranked for some keywords/phrases that actually get searched.

All right. I'll get back to you (via PM) with a list of keywords to consider. (I need to take a detailed look at your site's architecture first.) In the meantime, can you PLEASE change the text color on your site from black to white? Or at least change the background on your menu and main page area (including most of the sidebar)? Dark text on a dark background is VERY hard to read -- and will cause you to lose your visitors (not to mention revenue).
