I would appreciate if you could advise me as to the best ways of advertising so that I get a good income. I have 5 dependants and am entirely dependant on this income. First get your site some good content. You can't start advertising until you have something to offer people who visit. You've already made a bad impression on me by making me look at an empty site. Don't repeat that with potential customers. Your site needs focus. You need to think about what it is you offer and why people would want to go to your site. While you are learning that game - and it is a hard game to learn, find another income source to supplement this one. Because online money making starts with having regular visitors and right now you don't have that. If you have experience writing - and some subject you know a lot about that isn't already represented online massively - you could make this into a good venue for making money. But don't count on it going fast. By the time you do have a focused site, with a theme that goes beyond 'I don't know what to write about' and some good content (say a minimum of 5 posts if you stick with a blog) - then you can go advertise. Become active in online forums in your niche, use stumbleupon, perhaps by adwords-ads etc. But start it slow. You don't want to waste money on advertisement when people will be off your site as fast as they got on it. Right now that's what would happen as you just don't have anything to offer yet.
