Online Advertisement: From Spam to Art

    That's because online marketing tactics are cheaper if not free. Offline, these things cost money so companies are more careful how they spend their cash...

    Testing something online is much quicker and you can see results.... good or bad.... in just hours, if not minutes after a campaign goes live. But in the offline world it could take months to see and measure results.

    So online advertising and marketing campaigns are more aggressive to see what works and eliminate the failures immediately.

    Yes and no...
    That would apply to small players and budgets,
    Big brands are very very careful
    no matter where they invest - too much resources, money, time involved.
