Online Accredited PHP School/Course

    Hello

    I am interested in getting certified in PHP/MySQL. Is there any good and recommended accredited schools online offering courses? I did a Google search but the number of results was overwhelming and i don't know where to start.

    Also overall Web Design/Webmaster/Web Development

    No School available in the Cayman Islands

    PS I am not a US Resident/Citizen

    In the Cayman Islands there is NO ONE or NOWHERE that offers anything web related. The universites only offer hospitality, medicine, law and other professional certificates.

    The certificates that W3Schools offer are worthless - everyone in the industry knows that much of their site is either outdated or just plain wrong.

    Check online colleges and universities for BSCS programs. Check Learning Tree to see if they offer anything online. (No certification course that's worth anything is going to be cheap.)

    Personally, I look at experience, not certificates. If you have no experience you get entry-level pay, and you learn from those you work under. I've interviewed too may people with certificates who wouldn't have recognized a clue if they sat on it. But the guy who maintains our old COBOL code never took a programming course, he just knows how to write good code.
