Buying Ongoing Wordpress goto guy $15/day rate (8 hours) to start

I am looking for a person that is an expert with Wordpress and some HTML / CSS modifications. All the tasks would be related to Wordpress:

    1) Find good theme, configure relevant plugins (only for NEW domains)
    2) Modify HTML / CSS as needed (light changes), header modification
    3) Post content at provided interval (content will be provided). Example - you get 100 articles, schedule each one to post every Tuesday / Friday until they run out.
    4) On page SEO
    5) Off page SEO
*6) If you are able to write fluently in English you would get more hours to do simple writing work that could be added to daily work

In my 5+ years on DP and 10+ years of outsourcing I've dealt with all sorts of people. I dont want to waste anyone's time and I certainly don't want anyone to waste mine. I want to test qualified applicants out at a 1/2 day rate. You have 4 hours, show me what you can do. For example 100 articles to post would take less then 1 min each, I would want all work accumulated in a timesheet (daily report). If someone is doing what he / she needs to do I will offer full day rate (8 hours). If the person continues to produce quality work for some time I will increase it to $20/day (within 2 weeks based on your performance). Show me the reason to hire you for more then a day. Prove yourself for me to hire you few days a week and give you a raise. I am a fair and easy going person to work with.

    Lets do this!

You have learned a very bad experience in the past 5 years, paying less then 2 dollars per hour to a programmer/SEO person is an insult.. and no one will take it except people who are very desperate for money but who will do utter shit job.

If that is a typo mistake (which is unlikely) and the correct is $15 per hour, then I'll take it.

    $20/day ?

Even that's small. I will do this for $25/hour and I have extensive experience with WordPress, plugins, themes, modifications, SEO.

Drop me a PM if your stuck finding this person that will work for $15 a day...

    $15 per day x 20 working days (5 days / week) = $300 / month

    $20 per day x 20 working days (5 days / week) = $400 / month

Look at multiple threads of companies offering Virtual Assistants. If a company is charging this rate, what do you think the worker gets paid? For someone to copy / paste (post articles) and to do offsite SEO (2 biggest aspects of the job) is a reasonable pay.

People in 3rd world countries are crazy expecting $15/$25/hour for this type of work. People working full time jobs with college degrees dont always get this kind of salary in US. Why would I pay someone for simple copy / paste work more than skilled professionals (lawyers / doctors) get paid in your country. For $10/hour I can have no problems finding an American person that is out of a job. Minimum wage was in my state is $7.25/hour but remember that in US if you earn more than $600 you have to report it to IRS. Do you think outsourced workers in 3rd world countries pay any taxes? Do they have any expenses travelling to a job?

To configure a WP plugin you are not programming anything. I am not asking anyone to write code for $15-20/day.

I felt Programming was more appropriate for Wordpress than Content Creation.

And the responses you are getting are appropriate for posting a content creation job thread to a bunch of coders.

    Mods,

Feel free to move this to more appropriate section. My apologies to programmers that got offended.
