Thanks for reading my thread: I wish to inform the DP readers about my just finished site onemillionwebsites.com. I'd been working on it for a while, but it is now finally finished, and plan to get some media attention, a couple of online news sites have told me to do short write-ups and they will post it, and of course will post on alot of forums, just as I have done here

I am pretty sure that it has been overdone - I don't mean to trash the party, just that you may end up doing alot of work and get nowhere IMHO - perhaps a twist may work but even then you will need to work on design abit. This is sincere constructive criticism, not meant to be a flame- Perhaps gloss it up abit, center it...Oh for some reason the $ favicon seems abit like a turnoff as it give the impression that something is expensive - good luck with the project~ Hope you find something that works well -

I just wanna say that the domain name is good and hype. But it is just another typical pixel advertising page.

 

Yes Mihai - I do mention milliondollarhomepage, if you look at milliondollarhomepage most sites are UK based, in other words order a teddy bear from the UK if your in Idaho? and as for it dying,,obviously not aware of pixelllotto...hummn makes you wonder.

 

These one million things really annoy me. People trying to get quick money, and it's not gonna work.

 

if you search you will find a lot of websites like this, you will find freebies too...

 

well, adwords will cost you about $5-$10 a day on the cheap side,maybe 1 of those clicks will be legit,,the rest click fraud, the deal of the decade? well lets see,,i'm telling all the people i know about my site,,thus if your site appears on OneMillionWebsites.com - im actually advertising your site, can a price be set on word of mouth? LOL - I think not!

 

I have done a similar site but mine is for a real purpose not just to make money and put it in my pocket, and if i do not reach my goal all the money raised goes back to charity, i think this is a far better idea.

I'm also sorry to spoil the party but it's been done. Nothing new to see here. I mean if you want to make cash quickly you need to do something different. TheMillionDollar homepage worked, becuse NO ONE did it before.

This is identical to his site so your chances of success slim to none I'm afraid.
