I have devoloped this website. It is fairly new (1 day) and has no traffic. You are paying for the site design, domain and idea.

    Starting Bid @ $20.00

    BIN @ $100.00

    :)

PS: It gets great google adsense keywords.

    Is this a custom script?
Is the site content updated automatically?
Are the links ebay affiliate links?

Yes they can be converted to your affiliate tracking code.. I will edit it for the person who bids the BIN, or if you have enough knowledge you can edit it yourself.

What do you mean "move the site to my server" ? I will give you all of the files and transfer the domain to your host. But you have to give me some info of your hosting so I can transfer the domain to you.

I can trasfer the files and all. I didn't mean that. Will the script require any more coding or setting up a database on my server when it changes servers?

    What is a BIN???????!!!!!!!!!!
I agreed to the BIN amount a long time ago and now you tell me that someone has bid $200? How can you go back on your word and not honor the BIN you set yourself.

I am not interested in buying this website anymore. Other bidders, please beware.

Normally you should sell at BIN, even if bid is higher
BIN : Buy It Now :)

That's bad business really. If you do not want to sell at the BIN price, then make it higher in the first place. While the money is tempting, customer relations are more important.

If you were looking for the best offer, then you should not post a Buy It Now price or at least hold off a bit so you can see what interest there may be. This is a tight community and you should consider future ramifications of a decision to make an extra lousy $100 bucks now.

This smells suspicious - ask the PM bidder to post his "bid" here.

In any case, it's unprofessional to post a BIN and then try to get more after someone has accepted it. You've lost a lot of credibility right here ...

PZN, the issue isn't that you accepted a bid over the BIN, its that you had an offer for BIN in the forum BEFORE you alerted anyone that you had an offer that exceeded that amount.

Worse yet, why would someone PM you and say "I'll pay you $200" when you clearly advertise you are offering it for $100. I don't doubt that you received such an e-mail but I'd bet substantially on the fact that it was sent AFTER the offer to BIN for $100 was present in this post (the only possible logic for why someone would offer you a higher amount, I've never walked up to the counter in a Department Store and said "see that $99 DVD player over there, I'd like to pay $199 for it").
