Hey I've got my self a one worded keyword on the .cash extension "hits" .cash. I'd appreciate an appraisal for my new domain, Thanks guys!
The .cash extension is not known at all outside the domain community, and the meaning of the domain is vague to say the least. Any serious financial institution would never use the words hits and cash in their company name. The fact that it is a one worded domain does not mean it has value, except if it was a .com or .net There are literally millions of one word new gTLD-s available free to reg. and most of the new gTLDs are not recognized as actual domain names by non domainers.
You are generally right, but some .coms were registered for $40 and sold in 5 years for $1, 000, 000. We do not know where will domain industry evolve, because decent .com is now nearly impossible to register, even things like ghjf.com are already registered. This website may be worth a ton for an online casino or other onlline financial entity. Banks are not the only market players.
Don't get me wrong I would love for the new gTLD-s to increase in value, I have seen some of them go for quite decent amounts. I just pointed out their current status outside of the domain and tech-savvy community. I have some really nice gTLD-s stashed away myself, as well as several really nice domain hacks from IDN-s its just that so few people know its an actual extension at the moment. I am in the same boat as the thread OP with this It may have sounded otherwise.
