Awful. You obviously haven't read a word of what I've written so far in this thread. Pixelated, you are probably in the lead so far.
This is getting pretty demoralizing now.. Do you honestly think putting three letters inside a blue box is worthy of $50? Seriously, some of these entries aren't worth 50 cents.. The only submissions so far being considered are Pixelated and Carlita.
Right. And the specified colours are where exactly? How would you scale this down to be used as a letterhead or business card whilst maintaining the same 3d, transparent effect? All you've done is follow some Photoshop tutorial to make that glassy effect and tried passing it off as original work. I can do that. Anyone can do that. The logos that Pixelated has created are not Louvré quality; he is not reinventing the wheel. But he has adhered to the specifications set out by me in the opening post... e.g using light blue and black, not using gimmicky 3d text etc. And why on earth are people posting logos that take up my entire screen. It should be a tenth of that size.
All I done was skill. i don't use photoshop tutorials. And for you to judge someone with something you think you can do but you can't, how about you make your own since your so high and mighty and skilled at designing. And how would i scale it down? You just answered your own questions. Simply drag it to a comfortable size. And the colors? Forget about the colors it was a sample okay of what the real logo would look like, but you wouldn't notice because your too busy being picky. And im posting logos that big so i can include all the quality. so before you try to approach me and a rude matter how about you get ur facts straight
Ohh, sorry i forgot what color to be use. i will change the color as soon as possible. And please guys keep it cool..
It's the people on this forum, and others like it, that have ruined the internet. Everywhere you go it's tasteless pseudo-corporate logos made on MS Paint or content written by someone who's just spent 30 seconds trying to learn English and decided to wing it instead.
It doesn't matter if i get picked or not. and you said you tried everything, but how about you try to post examples. Some people are visual learners and need to have an idea VISUAL of what you would like. Have a nice day
tell you what. i think you should keep the contest open because there are some really good designers on DP, like mantisart, onlyfights, dacianprince, and etc
I suggest to everyone not to waste any more time on a contest holder like this because hopefully he will be banned very soon. Save your time and politeness for people who deserve it.
