i m sorry if this isnt the right place to ask, im newbie here but i wonder whats better for u guys earning money with Adsense, is better it to focus a lot on one website or to work on many websites at the same time?

i have one website but i wonder if i should start making more websites instead of keep improving my only site. what do u think? do u run many websites alone?

Focus first on building traffic (which takes a lot of hardwork) for one or two websites/blogs. Focus your content on top paying keywords without being too obvious (building a site about mesothelioma).

The upside of multiple sites is that you will see higher traffic. The downside of multiple sites is that I've found that one site with low CPC seems to pull down the other sites CPC. I haven't proved it completely, but I have spoken with others who only have one site and they seem to not have this problem. My CPC dropped certainly when I added one site that I knew would not make much AdSense revenue. I may remove that site to see if it makes a difference on the remaining.

Don't start a second site until your first site seems to have plateaud in visitor growth. Focus on content on site #1, and don't stop making new content on #1 no matter what, even if #2 outgrows #1.

I think if you want to run two sites with good content you should get someone to work on/help with the sites. It just means you allways have two (or more) updated and traffic gaining sites.

I'd aim for two - four websites, with great keywords.

Depends on the traffic in your genre, are you nearing saturation, can you still expand ? Do you dabble in any grey/black techniques, if your white hat then expand the one site, or look to buy/develop sites that are neglected.

I am a believer in 1 site with categories.

But i am a noob anyway. I suppose content rules so whether it is on 5 sites or on 1 site it is the same.

Advantage of 1 site is that it is more maintainable IMHO.

You can still let others work for your sites while you manage each and every site :)

The CPC is the amount an advertiser pays each time a user clicks on his/her ad. Google AdWords has a CPC pricing system. I don't quite understand how one site with cheap key words drags down another site with expensive ones, and that you the owner of the account therefore makes less overall money.
