Help me understand. I've been getting some great backlinks from authority sites in my niche. My question is - if an authority site links to me a second time, does that send extra Google juice to my site? Or is it a one time, one site thing in the eyes of Google? And by the same token - if you are buying backlinks, what is the difference between buying a link on the front page and buying a link sitewide? I know this has been discussed a lot previously, but I can't find a definitive answer (if it exists!) Thanks
If the authority sites link to different pages from their different topics and different pages then you will surely gain quality back-links, but if they are linking again and again to your home page then not much benefit. Site-wide links are when your link apprears on all the pages of a site. Home page links is much better.
Thanks SEO-Expert! That was very helpful Re sitewide backlinks - is there no real SEO benefit from getting one of these rather than a homepage link? I notice it's the norm for people selling links to charge more for sitewide than just homepage. Thanks
i think the importance of the sitewide backlinks and front page links should based on popularity,if you get a link from a popular page, maybe it will do great effect for your pr!!! maybe i'm wrong ,it's just what i think!!!!
