Google will not add a new web page to its index unless there is at least your site to Google directly. Instead, you need to get another website to link to your website first.
hmm.....sort of. Search engines rely on backlinks to find sites. If you have no backlinks it won't find it. p.s. - why is this in the product search forum?
I never used any sitemap, I only provided back links to my sites and they're indexed as well. However it take some time to be indexed all pages. Using sitemap may be faster.
any feedback on how we can submit our "deal of the day" website so that our products show on Froogle?

*Google will not add a new web page to its index unless there is at least your site to Google directly Not true. You can use a sitemap submitted through the Google Webmaster tools, but you will significantly improve your chances if you are getting indexed from link on a page which gets crawled regularly.
I know that I have been getting indexed but we are trying to index for product specific key phrases. What is a good way to index if you have a site with over 5k in products and rank for each product?
