As some of you know I am doing a complete overhaul on my site. I am taking things much much slower this time to make sure things are done right and also to make sure things look good. I am trying to work on my meta tags right now. I took a basic meta tag template from a site. There is one line I do not know. <link rel="meta" href="http://www.designingonline.com/labels.rdf" type="application/rdf+xml" title="ICRA labels" /> Code (markup): I am lost on this one. What is this about and do I really need it? Adam Burgi
Also here is my completed head coding. How does it look for now. <HEAD> <TITLE>journeyoftheanimals.com - pets - cares sheets - forums - funny pictures.</TITLE> <META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="animal lover, pet reptile, exotic animal, household pet, pet forums, care sheets, funny pets"> <META NAME="description" CONTENT="Journeyoftheanimals.com where we strive to be your number one source of information for all your household and exotic pets. We supply forums, care sheets, articles, pictures and much more."> <META NAME="author" CONTENT="Adam Burgi, journeyoftheanimals.com"> <META HTTP-EQUIV="Copyright" CONTENT="Copyright 2006 - 2007 journeyoftheanimals.com. All Rights Reserved "> <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="ALL"> <link rel="meta" href="http://www.designingonline.com/labels.rdf" type="application/rdf+xml" title="ICRA labels" /> </HEAD> Code (markup): I have been reading SEO stuff and tried to use things I learned. I am sure there may be a mistake or two, but that is why I am here. *Edit* to add. All the keywords are under 10,000,000 hits and most are under 3,000,000 hits on Google.
