It another website in the same niche with less PR linked to my site on every page of his blog. now i have 4000 something links for the same page over night... will Google hit me for this or will it be a good thing. I know they don't like aggressive link building tactics over night but does this apply to if coming from a single site.??? should i contact the owner and ask he to remove the links
If the site is within the same niche as yours, then I wouldn't see it as an issue at all. The problem arises when people start purchasing/obtaining sitewide links on sites which have no correlation with their own. WebDev
That's odd unless your site is popular in your niche. I would contact the owner and ask for those links be removed. Otherwise, use Google's consideration tool and report those links as spam.
There is nothing wrong with sitewide links. If you do not need it for SEO purposes, ask them to put a nofollow in it?
Yes, There is nothing wrong with sitewide links. But if your web get huge traffic for one times, your site will be banned from google.
does the site is in same niche or different. but having sitewide links carries a potential risk at some point after penguin update
it hurt my site big time because my site went from about 100 links to 40,000 which is flags for unnatural link building.. So beware out there Google finds things like this all the time. even though we are in the same niche many of the links on the site had duplicate content and no PR at all.
