One reason why it's so hard to make money with CJ

CJ redirects are DOG SLOW. Anyone with a dial up modem (And you would be surprised at how many people still use them) can often die of old age before CJ redirects to the affiliate landing page.

Even with broadband, I notice many of my links take forever to load the affiliate offer.

I make a boat load off of cj... maybe it's something else that is causing you issues with them.

It has nothing to do if I make money or not. It's simply a statment of fact. I test my own links at different times during the week and day. Sometimes they load normally sometimes they are very slow. And I use other merchants that load much faster. It's really that simple. So maybe you should be making more.

CJ's redirects are no slower or faster than any other service out there. I've never had any slowness issues with their redirects. Are you sure it's not just an issue on your end? CJ redirects are pretty darn fast for me.

If you really think that this is an issue, I'll write a script if I've got some spare time to benchmark CJ load times vs. other networks.

Maybe it's the merchants you are using... the merchants that I use load quickly with no issues.

I do as you do; test the links now and then and I can't recall a slow loading one. Maybe I'll set up a schedule and be more diligent to see if there is a time where they do load slowly.

It's a lot slower when the link is encrypted and also when your link opens in a new window. I changed all my links to open in the same window encrypted...much much quicker but they're all leaving my site of course. Sales haven't declined though since the change. Give it a shot..
