    Hi guys,

I thought I would share this with you.

While experimenting with Links.com lately, I have noticed that my SERP ranking for key words, e.g. "links" "tv links" ususally rises and falls depending upon these analytics variables:

    1) The relative acceleration (positive or negative) of visitors to the site

    2) The amount of time the visitors linger and the number of pages they click through

    3) The source of the visitors

The effect is rather quick and noticeable. The bottom line is that links are not relevant as an absolute number. What is relevant is the authority of the link, the amount of traffic the link is sending you (including search results), the amount of time the visitors linger (time and pages visited). This points to a more focused approach for SEO.

Has anyone else experienced similar results?
