Hey all, I have one straight-forward Alexa rank. I've read in the Bravenet newsletter that one "trick" to get a higher ranking on Alexa (or ranking at all), is to install an "Alexa toolbar" in IE browser and then browse you sites with it ... Well, and so I am curious, does this work only for domain-names or for separate URLs too (hosts on that domains), i.e. for example, if I would visit my website: http://tadej-ivan.50webs.com/ with "Alexa toolbar" installed, would then any "benefits" of higher ranking go to 50webs hosting service ?? tayiper
I think you should use a good domain name and not a sub domain I think alexa's rank increase according to visitors only atleast you should use a free domain like co.nr My rank was 488,012 for my directory which had a average of 35-37 visitors per day
