One question about sitemap with "www" without " www"

    If I have my site in sitemap put with " www" and after a while I will add in my sitemap pages without " www" could I have problem with google? Thanks

    Which sitemap? xml or HTML?

    I guess you have xml in mind for submitting via Google tools. As far as I know google differs domain.com and www.domain.com. So I might run into a trouble here.

    BTW: I cant see a reason why dont you just start with one option and leave it that way.

    Yes, that will be a problem. You can check this article for a discussion on similar crawling issues like www vs non-www, but basicly you need to avoid the situation you describe above. One solution is to make sure you redirect all non-www requests to www

    ok thanks people's for your help the porblem is that I try install wordpress and he is instaling on domain without www and I don't understan why Thanks again

    I use dreamhost and they give me the option to use both www/non-www or use any one of them. I am using www for both of my blogs. (links in signature)

    It won't be a problem If www and not-www pages are different.

    you must create 301 redirect from without www to with www

    I use the Google Webmaster tools

    Dashboard---->Tools-------->Set Preferred domain

    Then I use this site to check the redirect;

    webconfs.com to check the redirect
