They did not jump from one marketing plan to another, they stuck with the most logical plan and ran with it until they got it right. Their companies and websites did not become the success they are today overnight. It took time and a strong mind of integrity. They built a sense of trust with their market. They were respected in their market because of the quality they produced. They gave the market EXACTLY what it wanted.
