This is making me particularly angry tonight .. I'm slowing trying to start a webpage.. I've been doing it with photoshop and dreamweaver (yes yes, I know that nothings as good as learning *real* HTML myself, but well, I don't have time right now ) ... When I go to www.eileenbruce.com and click the "website" photo, in IE it works just fine, goes to www.eileenbruce.com/home.html .. But in fireforx, its still trying to go to www.eileenbruce.com/home ... Even though I've gone back into dreamweaver, changed the link so its home.html, saved it over and over, re-uploaded it over and over.. It'll work on IE, just not firefox I get this message Not Found The requested URL /home was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Apache/2.2.8 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.8 OpenSSL/0.9.7a mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.eileenbruce.com Port 80 Obviously because it's trying to go to /home and it doesnt exist.. I've tried and tried.. How do I fix it so it knows it needs to go to home.html instead? Can someone please help me out?
Ok, so I foolishly went into the firefox options, and cleared the cache, thinking that might help.. Now the link works, but the 2 photos on the front page are gone.. ARGH... This stuff is really confusing.. I'd appreciate anyones input on this.
I don't know what the problem is but I just loaded up your site in Firefox 3 and it worked fine, i.e. the link works and I can see the two photos of children on your front page.
Thanks blueroomhosting.. I should have posted before I went to bed last night.. I stayed up until 3 and I finally got it working
