I have some products that I want to start selling immediately on the web. I've been reading Tom Antion's book and he mentioned "one page websites" and I think that would be a great start for my products. Is there any further info on this topic on the web? Any advice on this? thanks
I do that all the time. I use PHP and it makes everything go alot smoother. Check it out here http://travelguides.exaro.org
With my own products, I would use detailed "sales copy" on the one page... leading into an order button (closing the sale). If you were promoting an affiliate program on the one page, I would use very compelling creative and the object would be to get them to click over to the merchants website as quickly as possible. Use pay-per-click (such as Google Adwords) to drive traffic to your page so that you can see how well it converts, split test various headlines or other page features, etc. Keep testing until you have a terrific conversion rate, and make note of the keywords that convert best for you.
Thanks Lynn, I'm working on my sites now in Dreamweaver and will be getting them up hopefully this weekend. thanks again
Great! Good luck And keep in mind there are a lot of great categories here at the DP forum if you run into any questions!
