Contest One-page simple website design - $60 paypal

Hello,

I need a simple one-page design for a local pet-shop. You have to deliver only the psd, I will code it myself. The pet-shop sells mostly pet food and pigeons.

I will explain my thoughts about the design.
- Main content should be 1000px wide.
- If the screen is bigger than that, some pigeons should appear on left and right of the main content, flying, eating or anything.
- Top of main content: contact info should appear, as minimal as it can be.
- Below contact info an image slider should appear, where I will place company facility images, currently available pets and such. There is no need for a logo, the shop window will be used in the first slide.
- Below the slider there should be the company "about" text (3 or 4 paragraphs) and a list to place what the shop has to offer. You can divide it, for example, 2/3 of main content's width for about and 1/3 for the list.
- The font you will use must support Greek characters.

The above are just my thoughts but explain what the page must contain. If you have different ideas you can freely create your design, I am open-minded.

You can submit your designs until Dec, 1. Contest will end on Dec, 2 and I will announce the winner.

Hope you'll like it.
You can resize "About us" and "Products" in order to gain more space. But I suggest you to leave some whitespace on your website.

@BSPlus: Your design looks old fashion to me but I do not reject it yet because it sticks on subject. I may ask for some changes but let's see what other designers have to offer first. Thank you for your submission!

 

@thomasdgr I've made some changes to the site. I've edited my previous post.
Maybe the pattern looks like it is old fashioned, but that can easily be changed. And
finding a nice font that will match Greek input is not that simple.
Anyways, It was a first shot, maybe you'll have more ideas after you see it.

@lfbond: I explained what I need in the first post. I will explain to you why your design is far from what I need. 1) I wrote that I do not need a logo. You put a logo and even worse it contains a lion while I requested pigeons. 2) I wrote that I need a one-page design. You put links in header and footer. 3) I do not like the background color.

@Sagim: I like that you took into consideration that I want the background to exceed the content. I like the background in "about us" part but I do not like the background on the sides of the slider with the feathers. Also, the offers list may have many items, so the font should be smaller. That's why I mention that it should be right of the "about us", so it will not increase the page's height too much.

@BSPlus: Your last design is better. I do not need a header with a company name though. The first slide image will be used for this. So, if we remove this part there will be no background on your design. Also, there is no need of social buttons.

Everyone please take a look at this page's design: magiriki_-_sintages_._gr (remove all underscores). Resize your browser and you will see that the left and right background images stick on the two sides. Can I have something like this?

Can you explain that bit more?

 

If you open the website you will see one background image that repeats to cover the whole background (leave this out from now on), one background image on the left side and one background image on the right side. No matter the screen resolution, the background images will be on the most left and most right side. Those images will be invisible only if the browser window width is equal or less than the main content width (they will actual hide behind the content).
On the design I request, because of the lack of main content (a slider on top, and the "about us" and "offer list" below), I want a background like this to cover the emptiness of the page and make it look modern. If it contains a general background too, that will fit with the two images, even better.
