Hello everyone, I'd like to share my experience and testing out about pages dropping from Google index. I've build new site with fresh and unique content and implemented sitemap. I'm checking google webmasters central few times on daily basis and tracking every single page. First experience with googlebot was excellent! I've no backlinks, only sitemap, and google put nearly all of my pages in its index (90%). Currently I'm working on link building, have few of them and guess what! Google dropped more than half of all my pages from index. I've checked out and see that one of my search keyword from google was an adult related (porn - something). Even I don't have any adult - porn related keywords in my site, I checked out and saw that my site was listed from site that isn't adult related, but contains adult keywords. So, I guess that is one of the reasons of dropping pages from Google index. At the moment I'm not providing user commenting on my site, and when I'll implement it, I'll make adult keywords filter. My site link was removed from other site containing adult keywords and for now it's gettin better. Have you some experience similar to mine? I know it's maybe too early to confirm this reason of dropping pages from index, but after investigations webmaster central, I've too many factor to confirm this as main reason of dropping pages from index.
i dont think this will be the case for this site, no matter how much it appears so. if it were this simple then people would be going around sabotaging other sites by linking them to bad places/themes and google knows this
