See most people always complain about their adsense is not making them a comparative amount for their avaible traffic. So I have obtain a tip that really helped me out. Most website vistors usually surf the net a lot and they sometimes get ad blindness. Meaning they have seen so many ads they just simply ignore them. So after listening to shoemoney podcast it told me that most adsense publisher are taught to camouflage there ads (this does work ) but people after awhile if they keep coming to your site it will be ignored so you have to let your ads stand out like using different colors . Experiment with diffferent colors and see which one has the highest conversion. you cant loose expcially if you are not making that much money anyway
Tried that long time ago. Didn't work for me. One day red ads, another day blue ads, another day blended ads. I think playing with them will just get your visitors more paranoid, so that they will always avoid clicking your ads as they will understand that your just trying to make some money off them. My 2 cents.
Thanks, although it can work on some sites, others it may not. I guess it depends on the demographics of the diff. sites. nontheless just as you said, if you earnings are dismall you have nothing to lose.
You can also use different pallets, that you'll get another one everytime you refresh. Just like the ads on top here. It seems like this is the best way to do on a forum, and I do notice that my CTR is higher on one forum where I use this, then the CTR on another forum, where I blended my ads.
Maybe change once a month. Not once a day..... It is good to change things up a little, but, it is just as important to spend your time adding content to your site and advertising. On the other hand. If nobody is clicking on your ads, it doesn't matter how much traffic you get. Looks like a catch 22
Yes, you need to split test the ads for a good 2 - 3 weeks first, and not every single day. Placement is also very important, and yep the colors of the ads are as well. I find that no matter WHAT color I change my ads to, they always get the higest CTR when the URL address is the legendary BLUE, that most folks are used to clicking on. The method you mention 'works', but only in combinations of different methods. An easier way to test would be using rotating ads.
For me the color 000088 in the title works best for me. Plus the evergreen tips placing your ads before the article also still relevant.
Blending or making it standing out, this is a question. This is two base methods for adsense, which have been debated for a long time. For me, I prefer to blending. The key is that you have to bring in new traffic, rather than those regular visitor. Organic traffic usually means higher conversion rate.
I've tried this already - it did not work.. Blend them in as much as possible, that's the best way, I believe.
The best thing did was to make them stand like a superstar of the show. This way it's glaring right in when to got to your site and sometimes they might probably lost track of what they are really looking for and might clink on the ads. Just my 2 cents JulieV
