I was just looking over another DP member's website and this is by far the trickiest adsense setup I've ever seen. If I was a regular person I would never know. Can you tell the two ads on the top are adsense? There's a slight difference in the link colors, but if you weren't looking for it, you couldn't tell. http://www.megaarcade.us/
This is a clear violation of adsense policies. Placing images next to ads have got many people banned, I am sure it is just a matter of time before the quality team caught this guy. Also this is poor adsense implementation considering that his best paying ad (the first unit)n in in header which will get a poor CTR and those getting higher CTR will be of poor per click value. Your first unit must be the one getting maximum clicks. As mentioned, the bgcolor also need to change. Overall poor implementation and clear violation. Added: Ads should not be given any title other than "ads|, "sponsored links" etc. "Random games" is misleading and another clear violation.
Pfff... of course I miss the days when we could have images next to ads, they looked great and tricked very well hahaha... But now it's just a site waiting to be banned.
I was actually thinking about using this method. But the last thing I want is to get banned from Adsense.
Yeah, there's no question this violates Google's TOS for AdSense. Only a matter of time before they're banned.
I cannot agree the first unit is always best paying. I have a site where the bottom ad unit gets the better CPC (and of course lower CTR) than 2 other upper units. This is magic.
yeah it violates TOS, but dang, I haven't even noticed they were ads... lovely blending, yet, cannot be done =/
Yeah, I didn't see that they were ads. That's an obvious cheat on real clickers over clicks by mistake.
You talk about violation I don't know maybe is true, it's againt GA TOS, but he got really a great idea...
I see that the website is still alive. But I see the website got no traffic, I'm the only one online now
