    Dear Valued Publisher,
Please be aware that Total Hockey, one of the advertisers you are joined to in the Commission Junction network, has been deactivated.
While Total Hockey is deactivated, you will not receive commissions for traffic you drive via the advertiser's banners, text links, and/or other link types. Consequently, please replace these links as soon as possible with links from active advertisers. To view the links you are using that are generating traffic for Total Hockey but from which you are earning no revenue, go to the Invalid Links Generating Traffic Report.
During the advertiser's deactivation, you will still remain affiliated with Total Hockey if and when the advertiser reactivates its affiliate marketing program with Commission Junction. Once reactivated, Total Hockey will appear in My Advertisers in the Account Manager. You will receive another email from Commission Junction alerting you to the advertiser's reactivation.

NOTE: 4 hours later, CJ reactivated this advertiser

My question, I am brand new to the CJ program- and is this a red flag to stay away from this Advertiser?

Don't worry about it. It happens all the time on CJ, with all sorts of advertisers. They're usually reactivated within a day.

I have the same experience. Many advertisers including my best are deactivated for a few hours or one day very often. You don't need worry - cj.com guarantees that you will receive the commissions you have earned.

But some take long time to reactivated
so I thinks it is better to deactivate the links of these advertisers

If the advertiser is deactivated you should see the number of invalid clicks in the "invalid clicks" report. So you can decide if it is worth to promote the advertiser who is deactivated time from time.

I think some times they are deactivated because of a problem with their site. I also get that kind of message when their commission rate changes, and its to make you go to CJ and accept or decline their new commission schedule.
