That's not much of a problem... As long as you're not the one clicking on your own ads. I had a site last year where the same visitor clicked on the same links like several hundred times. His IP was blocked by the network eventually, but the site wasn't effected.

Nah... As long as they don't go crazy with the clicks (hundreds/thousands of times) and as long as they don't send any threatening or nagative emails/messages. You'll be fine.

    No, contact Adsense ASAP.
They could ban you for this as, for all they know, you could be round at your friend's house repeatedly clicking ads. So, yeah, get in touch with the Adsense team ASAP with your problem.

16 clicks isn't much of a whistle-blower... If it were in the tripple-digits, then you can start worrying, But that doesn't seem to be the case here.

    Do what you will.

I think that just about wraps this up...

As I said... Things like this go on all the time. If they start clicking in Tripple-digits, then you can start worrying.

Contact Adsense.. even if you're not the one clicking the ads, they can ban our site for being posing a risk to advertisers.

Be on the safer side. Contact the Adsense and report the same.

Anything that looks than the usual should be reported to Adsense. If one day you have much higher CTR than the usual, report it.

But how could you know that the same person clicking your ad repeatedly? Do you use a third party tool to monitor the clicks?

You no need to worry until you getting money for those clicks. Few days before i get more than 250 clicks on all of my sites from a single ip and Google completely ignored those clicks with $0 revenue. So you no need to worry until you getting money on your account for those clicks ! Bcoz, Google knows invalid clicks :)

No worries there I had a user that was mad because he was banned from my forum and began to "sabotage" my adsense by doing the same thing and his IP was banned however when I first started as a noob (well still am) I clicked on my own ad to test it like the genius I am and I got an email from google in a couple of hours giving me a warning not to click my own ads I havent clicked them in months haha
