One of my sites completely wiped out?

It started about three weeks ago. First the home page and now all the site completely wiped out MSN. At first I thought it would be OK in a few days but now after 3 weeks things got worse. My other sites have no problem and they have the same structure as this one.
    • It is neither the newest nor the oldest of my sites
    • Site has completely similar structure but different contents.
    • Has lots of backlinks
    • My main competitor has lost ranking too

Seems as if they have manually removed my site.

    Any experience?

I have had this happen also and it came back in time. MSN seems very wierd to me and it appears they are going through some changes right now. I would just give it a week and see if you get reindexed before you get too excited.

Same thing happen to one of my sites on Friday - Saturday (April 7 and 8). When MSN came back up, my site was deindexed. The keyword searches that are relevant to the site were also updated. Mostly Fortune 100 Companies on the first page now, and most of the sites that used re-directs were remove from the first page. I do not use re-directs and hope this is temporary. I used the add my site feature that shows when a site is not listed.

I have my finger crossed and will contact MSN in about a week if the site is not back. Maybe the site got caught in the 'crossfire' so to speak. But I sincerely believe it is worthy of being indexed and I do not think I have broken any terms of service issues. The site did well for several competitive high paying keywords on MSN. The site is climbing in the other search engines but MSN was/is where it does best right now.

MSN does not owe me anything. MSN has been very good to me, and I appreciate their efforts greatly. Like I said, I have my fingers crossed.

I have the same problem http://www.woodworking1.com. It had dropped off the map for serp did not realize it was de index till I read this thread and checked. The odd thing is msnbot has hit 89 times and read 3580 pages this month? I had another site that disappeared about the same time(6-8 weeks ago) and it came back on msn about a week ago.

Hope it's just temporary. Many others here have earlier mentioned that their sites disappeared from MSN SERP's but they returned in a few days. A possibility for you.
    Best of luck

I have seen things like that happen to sites in MSN. They always seem to come back.

As others have suggested, it could be a temporary thing. However even though sites drop off the radar in MSN, they usually remain indexed, and yours is not, so perhaps not...
